Gemma Hayes to tour UK and Ireland

Mercury Music Prize nominee Gemma Hayes is to tour the UK and Ireland this autumn.

She will perform at the Tennents Vital 2 Belfast Botanic Gardens Festival on September 8.

The Tipperary singer then plays several Irish concerts before the UK tour.

The tour dates are:

September 10 - Cleere's Theatre, Kilkenny;

September 11 - Whelan's, Dublin;

September 14 and 15 - Triskel Arts Centre, Cork;

September 19 - Solas, Drogheda;

September 20 - Spirit Store, Dundalk;

September 21 - Nerve Centre, Derry;

September 28 - Academy 2, Birmingham;

September 29 - The Cockpit, Leeds;

September 30 - The Social, Nottingham;

October 3 - The Junction, Cambridge;

October 7 - Liverpool University;

October 8 - Manchester University.
