Billy Connolly to star with Cruise in samurai film

Comic Billy Connolly is to star opposite Tom Cruise in a new film about the final days of the samurai warriors, it was reported today.

Timothy Spall and Tony Goldwyn also have major roles in the epic movie which is due to start shooting later this year, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
