Front runners revealed in race for Audience Award

The new film from the writer of The Full Monty is the early leader for the Audience Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Simon Beaufoy's This Is Not A Love Song is just ahead of Mike Leigh's All Or Nothing in the voting.

The Festival's opening night film Morvern Callar, which stars Samantha Morton, is in third place followed by French film 8 Femmes in fourth.

The award is for by the audience from films in the Gala and British Gala sections.

Previous winners have included The Full Monty and Billy Elliot. Last year's winner was Amelie.
