Madonna writes song for Kylie

Madonna has written a new song for Kylie Minogue.

The track called Alone Again was co-written by her producer Rick Nowels.

It is due to be released as a double A-side with Come Into My World from Kylie's Fever album.

Kylie told The Sun: "I don't think Madonna has ever given a song to another artist."

The singer, who is currently touring her native Australia, says she wants a break from playing live before doing her next album.

Kylie said: "I won't do another tour for at least a year. I'm not good at taking a break - I have to make myself take time off."
