Jennifer Lopez plans next screen venture

Jennifer Lopez is planning to star in the movie version of an American journalist's unpublished novel.

She is teaming up with Spider-Man producer Laura Ziskin to develop Dirty Girls Club.

The story concerns six college friends who reunite 10 years after graduating and continue to rendezvous every six months thereafter.

The novel is by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, who was formerly a features writer for the Boston Globe and Latin pop music writer for the Los Angeles Times, www.variety.com reports.
