The Strokes to release new single in September

The Strokes will release a new single, Someday, on September 23.

It will be available on CD and 7inch vinyl.

The single will also feature demo versions of Is This It and Alone Together.

The video, directed by Roman Coppola, features cameo appearances by former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.

It features a spoof of US TV show Family Feud, with The Strokes competing against Guided By Voices, www.kerrang.com reports.
