The Osbournes face second law suit

The Osbournes are being sued for a second time over their MTV show.

MTV and the cable network's owner, Viacom, also are named in the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles.

Entertainment network Threshold.tv claims they are breach of contract.

It says their MTV deal violates an intellectual property rights agreement made in December 2000 between Threshold and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's company Monowise.

Threshold, headed by Larry Kasanoff, wants to be declared the owner of MTV's series "and all derivatives therefrom" and asks for unspecified damages, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Los Angeles-based producer Gary Binkow has also filed a lawsuit against the Osbournes claiming they stole his idea for their MTV series.

According to Threshold's suit, the agreement between them and the Osbournes, gives Threshold exclusive rights to Ozzy Osbourne's "name, likeness, image, identity, persona, trademarks and right of publicity" for "live-action and animated programs ... or other offline works, as well as the right to make sequels, remakes, spinoffs and derivative works of any such works."
