Shakira unhurt as helicopter makes emergency landing

Shakira is unhurt after her helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing.

It landed on a baseball field in the Dominican Republic because of bad weather.

The Colombian singer travelling to her summer home where she is spending a month on holiday.

She is in the Dominican Republic with her parents and brother.

The helicopter was travelling from Punta Cana to La Romana, east of the capital Santo Domingo, when it encountered strong winds and heavy rain.

No one was injured.

Authorities did not say who was on board the helicopter besides Shakira.
