Irish film awards up for consideration
It's time to consider the possible winners of the biennial Irish Film and Television Academy Awards.
Around 20 feature films will be competing for the big-screen awards - along with shows from television - with the details of the ceremony to be announced in October.
Deadline for nominations is 5pm on Friday, September 13 (details on the IFTA website: www.ifta.ie).
Films already in the frame for possible awards include Mapmaker, How Harry Became a Tree, When Brendan Met Trudy, About Adam and Accelerator.
