Farrell rumoured to be the next Batman

Colin Farrell has reportedly signed up to play the caped crusader in Batman vs Superman.

Jude Law is thought to be in line to play Superman.

Both actors will be asked to "pump up a little bit," according to director Wolfgang Petersen.

The film will see Batman and Superman as allies who fall out over 'differing philosophies.'
