Previously unseen scripts by Graham Chapman which were due to feature in a show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe have been pulled.

According to a spokesman for the Graham Chapman Archive they are worried the sketches would "not live up to the hype."

The sketches entitled Busy Messiah and Who's A Pretty Boy Then, about a gay budgie, were due to form part of the show Sketch Club.

A spokesman for the Archives said that there was "concern that the sketches could not possibly live up to the vast amount of interest that has already been generated about them."
