Lara Croft model inspires Tomb Raider score

Lara Croft model Jill De Jong has helped record the soundtrack to new Tomb Raider game The Angel Of Darkness.

Her appearance inspired the London Symphony Orchestra to play and record the game's score at Abbey Road studios.

The Angel of Darkness will be released for PlayStation 2 and PC in November.

The score was written in three months by Peter Connelly and Martin Iveson of game developers Core Design.

Peter Connelly said: "To bring together one of the world's most famous heroines and one of the world's best orchestras in such a famous setting as the Abbey Road studios has been incredible."

The new Tomb Raider game is said to be a lot darker than her previous adventures.

Locations in the new game will include Paris and Prague.
