Police hunt rapper Morrison in kidnap probe
British police are hunting rapper Mark Morrison after the singer was accused of kidnapping a woman.
Morrison is alleged to have abducted the woman, in her 20s, after he said she stole a gold bracelet from him.
He is also accused of stealing her Mercedes car, the Sun newspaper claimed.
Morrison was arrested last Friday and taken to Paddington police station. He was bailed to return but failed to do so.
Morrison had a No1 hit in 1996 with Return of the Mack.
Scotland Yard said: "A 30-year-old man was arrested on July 12 and taken to Paddington in connection with the alleged taking and driving away of a vehicle and the alleged kidnap of a woman earlier that month in west London.
"He was released on police bail and failed to return. Inquiries are in hand to trace him."
