Fatboy wants to score a film soundtrack

Norman Cook is looking to compose the soundtrack for a film.

Cook has been reading scripts and talking to directors.

He says he's holding out for a good film, as he doesn't want to end up working on a project he's unhappy with.

"I'm looking for a good director who'll let me score the whole film," Cook tells Mixer magazine.

"It's like losing your virginity: I want the first film I score to be good.

"It's committing eight months of my life to one project and if I realise it's a sh*t film or I don't get on with the director after a month, I'm stuck doing something I don't want to do."

He added: "I'm hanging out for something good rather than doing an average film."
