We swear a lot too, Camilla tells Ozzy's wife

Camilla Parker Bowles remained unruffled when Sharon Osbourne used the f-word in front of her, it emerged today.

"Oh, it's quite all right. We curse quite a lot around here," the Prince of Wales's companion said during last month's Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.

Former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne said while he put the word "temporarily on hold" during the meeting, his wife was less cautious.

"My wife said to Camilla Parker Bowles, 'I think you're f****** great'," he told Rolling Stone magazine. "My eyeballs nearly flew out of my head," added Ozzy, who urged his wife to watch her language.

The self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness said he kept his left hand in his pocket when he met the Queen, fearing she would faint if she saw the O-z-z-y tattoo on his fingers.

"She said, 'I understand you're quite the wild one.' I just went, 'Heh, heh, heh'."

The 53-year-old star, who sang his hit Paranoid at the concert, said Prince William told him after the show he should have performed some of his Black Sabbath numbers.

"If I had done Black Sabbath, the f****** royal box would have turned to stone, and the Archbishop of Canterbury would have had to douse them in holy water."

He told Rolling Stone the entire Royal family had enjoyed his performance and were all "headbanging, giving it plenty".

Filming of the second series of MTV's hit reality series The Osbournes has been temporarily interrupted while Sharon recovers from surgery for cancer of the colon.
