Witnness is a 40,000 sell-out

All 40,000 tickets for this weekend's Witnness Festival in Ireland have been snapped up.

Organisers are warning ticketless fans not to turn up at the event at Fairyhouse Racecourse.

Garda ticket checks will be set up on all approach routes to the site.

Anyone without a ticket will not be permitted past the security check points.

No tickets will be available at the site.

Headliners include The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Air, Kosheen, Oasis, Basement Jaxx, Badly Drawn Boy and Groove Armada.
