Lady in red Milla steals show at premiere

Actress Milla Jovovich was the lady in red at the premiere of her latest film, Resident Evil.

The 26-year-old model and face of L'Oreal wore a strapless Prada dress to the gala screening in London's West End.

In Resident Evil she plays a tough-talking commando who battles to save the planet from a deadly virus.

The film is based on the best-selling computer game of the same name and Jovovich said she jumped at the chance to star in the film.

"I love the game and that's why I wanted to do this movie. Me and my 13-year-old brother play it for five hours a day," she said.

Twice-married, Jovovich is currently dating the film's British writer and director, Paul Anderson.

She was previously married to director Luc Besson, with whom she made sci-fi classic, The Fifth Element.
