Full Monty's Carlyle becomes a dad

Robert Carlyle has become a father for the first time.

His wife Anastasia has given birth to a baby girl, Ava.

Carlyle was at his wife's bedside at the Queen Mother Hospital in Glasgow for the birth.

Ava weighed in at 6lb 12 oz.

According to www.eveningtimes.co.uk, Carlyle is said to be "ecstatic" and Anastasia and Ava are "doing fine."
