Entwhistle funeral will be private affair

John Entwistle's funeral next week will be a private family service, according to reports.

A public memorial service will be held later in the year to enable fans to pay tribute to The Who star.

The Entwistle family has asked that in lieu of flowers, fans make donations to the Teenage Cancer Trust and the British Heart Foundation.

Entwistle's former Who colleagues are expected to attend the funeral. The 57-year-old died of a heart attack last Thursday in Las Vegas on the eve of The Who's American tour.
