Macca makes plea to McDonalds

Paul McCartney wants McDonald’s restaurants to apply their British animal welfare standards to its outlets worldwide.

The vegetarian former Beatle, who married Heather Mills this month, took time out from his honeymoon to write to the top 100 McDonald’s shareholders, asking them to urge the fast food chain to extend the standards.
