Brosnan reveals new Bond watch

James Bond’s latest life-saving wrist watch was being revealed today by Pierce Brosnan ahead of the new 007 film Die Another Day.

The secret agent’s gadgets are always eagerly anticipated whenever another blockbuster is released.

Bond will again be sporting his Omega Seamaster Professional wrist watch.

But 007 fans will have to wait until the film’s release, expected later this year, to discover the life-saving innovations reserved only for those with a Licence to Kill.

The watch was first used by 007 in Goldeneye. His special version had a included a fine laser beam he used to escape captivity. It could also double as a detonator for any mines or explosives 007 had placed and it told the time.

Omega has brought out a limited edition of the Seamaster watch, some 10,007 marked with the 007 pistol logo.

Brosnan, who stars in the new film alongside Halle Berry, will reveal his prestige timepiece at an event at Claridges Hotel, London.
