Holly not engaged, say record label

Holly Valance's record company has denied she has got engaged.

She was spotted wearing a new diamond ring on her wedding finger at a record signing in Sydney.

The Neighbours star has been going out with student Peter Ververis since they were at school.

A spokesman for her record company, Warner, told The Sun: "She's not engaged. It's just a friendship ring. She's only 19, after all."

Holly is due to leave Neighbours this summer and has had a number one UK hit with her debut single Kiss Kiss.
