Spencer pleads with Big Brother to show World Cup

Spencer is desperate to see England play Argentina.

He has been pleading with Big Brother to show today's World Cup match.

He also wants to know when he can get some beer out of the store cupboard in preparation for the match.

In answer to his request to watch the game, Big Brother simply replied: "How many eggs have the chickens laid today?"

Spencer told the housemates he is still keeping his fingers crossed, because Big Brother hasn't given him a straight answer.

He is also pinning his hopes on an aeroplane flying past with the result.

The housemates have been told to stay in the girls' bedroom, while work is done to raise the security fence around the garden.
