Big Brother set for new player after Sunita quits
A new contestant is to enter the Big Brother house to replace the departing Sunita, it was announced today.
The 25-year-old trainee barrister will leave at 7pm tonight after just seven days on the reality TV show.
Details of who the new housemate will be and when they will join the other 11 contestants have not yet been revealed.
Sunita announced last night that she had had enough of life inside the house and had decided to quit.
She will be the first person to leave the Big Brother house of her own accord.
‘‘I won’t regret being in the house but I know when it’s time to leave - very soon. I’m worn down not having my own space,’’ she said.
Sunita, from Brixton, south London, expressed her doubts as early as Day 4 and said she was not bonding with the other housemates.
She also complained about their ‘‘pantomime’’ antics and refused to join in their more risque games.
‘‘I think I was a bit naive coming into the house and perhaps I didn’t really think about what I wanted when I came in.
‘‘I’m getting really claustrophobic being in the same rooms, doing the same things. I usually like to be the life and soul of the party but maybe this is not my party,’’ she said.
Another contestant will still be evicted from the house tomorrow, unbeknown to the housemates.
