Bob Hope a year away from beating his grandfather

Comedian Bob Hope celebrated his 99th birthday yesterday with an outpouring of good wishes and a new honour - a chapel in his name.

The party started early for the Hope family, with the comedian’s wife, Dolores, celebrating her 93rd birthday on Monday.
