Jamie Redknapp cashes in on World Cup

Jamie Redknapp has signed a £250,000 (€395,000) deal to star in a TV commercial for BT.

It sees the footballer taking the mickey out of his "sicknote" reputation.

The new deal means he should make more money during the World Cup than the England players.

In the advert Jamie starts off fit, but tumbles down a flight of stairs while rushing to answer the telephone at home.

Viewers then see him back on the phone with a cast on his leg.
