Bill and Ben bid for chart glory

Bill and Ben the flowerpot men are aiming to be top of the pops.

The pair - who are regularly seen with weed - have opted for a dance sound rather than flower power on the track Flobbadance which is out next month.

The single features the voice of John Thomson who narrates the BBC1 children's show originally created half a century ago.

An album is to follow, featuring contributions from writers and producers such as Ashley Slater of Freakpower fame.

The single, out on June 24, is described as having a "big flobba-beat vibe".
