Sandler and Bowie record soundtrack song

David Bowie and Adam Sandler have recorded a version of Space Oddity for the soundtrack to Mr Deeds.

Sandler stars in the film, which is a remake of Mr Deeds goes to Washington, with Winona Ryder.

The soundtrack also includes new material by Counting Crows and Dave Matthews Band.

U2's Sweetest Thing, Natalie Imbruglia's Wrong Impression and Travis's Sing are also on the album, reports www.mtv.com.

Mr Deeds will be released in the UK later in the year.
