Kelly Brook lands role in new thriller

Kelly Brook has been named as the female star of a new thriller.

She will co-star with Christopher Lambert, Lou Diamond Phillips and Ron Perlman in Absolon.

It is about a detective investigating the murder of an inventor who has discovered a cure for a devastating disease.

During the investigation, he's injected with the last dosage of the drug and becomes the hope to cure all mankind.

Brook will play a mysterious woman who attempts to help the hero avoid a dangerous group that doesn't want the cure to hit the streets.

The role is Brook's first major film part.
