Fan club angry at plans to update a classic

Fans of the British thriller classic The Italian Job are angry - extremely so - at the very thought of it being up-dated by Hollywood ... and relocated to Los Angeles.

Freddie St George, secretary of The Italian Job Club, dismisses the plans for a Mark Whalberg version.

He does have a point. How could they possibly better the Michael Caine, Noel Coward, Raf Vallone, Rossano Brazzi original?
