Cameron thinks it's a masterpiece
We may have grown tired waiting for the much-delayed release of Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York, about the turn-of-the-20th-century battles between the Italians and Irish, but when it does hit our screens it's going to be a masterpiece ... so say one of its stars, Cameron Diaz, who is in it alongside Leo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis and Liam Neeson. And she reckons it could feature prominently come next year's Oscars!
In the meantime, Diaz, one of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses, has been persuaded to return as one of Charlie's Angels in the second movie based on the long-running TV series. At first she was reluctant because she says she isn't keen on "going back" ... but a good script and a fee of $20m (€22m) helped.
