The future of the American version of The Weakest Link is in doubt because of falling ratings.

Anne Robinson's quiz show drew 17.5 million viewers when it first hit the US last year.

But that has dipped to seven million.

NBC spokeswoman Rebecca Marks says its future is under review, according to the Daily Mail.

But Robinson is working on plans for a chat show with NBC which could be called Anne Talks Tough.
