Hurley ‘distressed’ as Bing launches paternity proceedings

Actress and model Liz Hurley said tonight she was ‘‘extremely distressed’’ to hear that her former lover Steve Bing had started legal proceedings to establish whether he is the father of her newborn child.

The 36-year-old said she found it ‘‘astonishing’’ that the Hollywood film producer had brought the High Court action.
