Mann and Neeson in Exorcist prequel
Gabriel Mann will join Liam Neeson in the as-yet-untitled prequel to the classic horror, The Exorcist, playing a young priest working in post WW2 Africa. Shooting starts in the Spring in the United Kingdom and Spain.
Colm 'Star Trek' Meaney is to be one of the stars of another TV series, alongside William Baldwin and Mary Stuart Masterson. RUSH is set around the adventures of a Special Police Unit working in Los Angeles.
Some recent British-made movies have been so embarrassingly bad - but thankfully few of them have been given theatrical release - that the British Film Council's Director, Alan Parker, whose Commitments was one of the best-ever Irish-based movies, is to look at the future funding of productions. JOHNNY Depp will play J.M. Barrie, creator of Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook, in a bio of the famous Victorian writer. The classic story of Neverland has been one of the most filmed in the history of the movies so it's about time the man who started it all should be acknowledged.
