Hugh Grant unlikely to confront Steve Bing

Hugh Grant says he won't be flying to California to confront Steve Bing.

Liz Hurley's former partner is thought to be privately furious with the billionaire.

Bing denies her claim he is the father of her new baby boy Damian.

Grant told Ananova: "It's a bit of a mess and what I'd call a horrible situation. But I keep reading I am flying to California to confront him.

"I have never even met the man, nor am I likely to."

Grant, promoting his new film About A Boy, says he feels sorry for Liz, his constant companion for 12 years.

He added: "It's very civilised between me and Liz.

"We're good friends. When she says she's going out with somebody I just take it on the chin. Her life is her own."
