Big names set for Cannes Film Festival
New Adam Sandler, Antonio Banderas and Mike Leigh movies will be shown at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
Organisers are also reported to be discussing whether to hold a midnight screening of the new Star Wars film.
Cannes runs from May 15 to 26.
Among the films which will be screened are Paul Thomas Anderson's untitled film, which stars Sandler, and Brian De Palma's thriller Femme Fatale, starring Antonio Banderas and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.
Mike Leigh's All Or Nothing, Ken Loach's Sweet Sixteen and 24 Hour Party People will also be screened during the Festival, according to www.variety.com.
David Cronenberg's latest film Spider, which stars Ralph Fiennes, will also get a showing.
