Man remanded on Liz Hurley stalking charge

A man accused of stalking Liz Hurley has been remanded in custody by magistrates after appearing in court.

Petar Mihajlovic, 32, is charged under Section Two of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 with harassing the star on or before April 4, 2002.

Mihajlovic, who gives his address as Orchid Avenue, Hollywood, California, was refused bail at West London Magistrates Court.

The Yugoslav appeared in court wearing a white T-shirt, black sweater and dark suit and spoke to confirm his name and date of birth.

The case was adjourned for a week until Friday April 19.

Miss Hurley is currently staying at Sir Elton John's luxury home in Old Windsor, Berkshire, following the birth of her son Damian.
