Kylie Minogue's hot pants are to be auctioned at a charity ball.

Ronan Keating will be performing live at the event at London's Alexandra Palace on April 18.

All money raised will go to the Woolworths Kids First charity.

Other lots include a limited-edition golden snitch from the Harry Potter film and a walk-on part in the next S Club video.

Stuart Hall will be hosting the ball.

Kylie's creative director, Will Baker, spotted the gold shorts in an Oxfam shop two years ago and bought them for 50p.

She wore them in the Spinning Around video.
