Steve Bing's ex says he deserves abuse over Liz baby

A TV producer who dated Steve Bing after he split with Liz Hurley says he deserves the abuse he's getting.

Brenda Swanson went out with the billionaire for five months.

She says she's not surprised he denies he's the father of Liz's new baby boy and will have nothing to do with her.

"Steve was the sweetest, most charming guy when we were going out," Brenda told The Sun.

"As soon as things got heavy he disappeared.

"All of a sudden I couldn't get hold of him at his office, or at home, and I couldn't understand why."

Cuddly toys and flowers have been arriving at the Portland Hospital in London where Liz gave birth to Damian by Caesarean section four days ago.

Los Angeles-based TV producer Brenda said of Bing: "Maybe he should try thinking how she feels alone with her baby in hospital.

"He spent 18 months with this woman and can't even be bothered to comfort her through the pregnancy or the birth.

"It's not the behaviour of a decent person and he deserves all the abuse he is getting from her friends."
