Second week at No 1 for Gareth

Gareth Gates has held on to the top spot in the charts for the second week running.

The 17-year-old stays at number one with his version of Unchained Melody - the only song to have made it to number one for four different artists.

Gareth last week became the youngest British male solo star to notch up a number one.

Ali G and Shaggy are at number two with Me Julie, while Shakira moved up to number three with Whenever Wherever.

Will Young has slipped to number four with his debut release, the former number one Anything is Possible/Evergreen.

The chart's highest new entry was Missy Elliott, who came in at number five with 4 My People. George Michael's comeback single FreeeK has slipped to number 17 after entering the charts at number seven last week.
