Soul superstar brings 'hip' to Parliament

Soul superstar Alicia Keys gave an unusual performance at the House of Commons today as part of one MP’s bid to make parliament ‘‘more hip’’.

Labour MP David Lammy, the youngest member of parliament, invited the Grammy Award-winning singer to play a one-off gig at Westminster.
