Beckhams escape injury in M-way pile-up

Pregnant Victoria Beckham and her son Brooklyn have been involved in a motorway pile-up.

The pair were being driven north on the M6 by Victoria's father Tony Adams when a six-car collision took place just before junction 13, near Stafford.

Mr Adams is believed to have been driving David's Chrysler Grand Voyager when the crash took place shortly before 10pm on Sunday.

Neither Brooklyn nor his mother were injured in the crash and Mr Adams, 55, also escaped unscathed.

Two people were taken by ambulance to the Stafford District General Hospital but their injuries were not serious.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police motorway division said: "It was a six-car accident just before the exit slip-road to junction 13.

"One of the vehicles was driven by Tony Adams, and Victoria and Brooklyn Beckham were also on board. None of them was injured."

Brooklyn was earlier joined by his parents, grandparents, family and friends for his third birthday party in Manchester.
