So Solid star facing gun charges

Pop star Ashley Walters was going on trial today for alleged firearms offences.

The 29-year-old So Solid Crew member from Peckham, south London, who has had acting parts in Grange Hill and The Bill, denies possessing a prohibited Brocock revolver and having the firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The allegations relate to an incident with a traffic warden on July 30, last year. The hearing, at London’s Southwark Crown Court, is due to last five days.

So Solid Crew went to No.1 in the charts with it’s garage single 21 Seconds last August.
