Bill Murray set for Christmas comedy

Bill Murray is in talks to play the lead role in the new film from the director of Ghost World.

Bad Santa will be directed by Terry Zwigoff and produced by the Coen Brothers.

The film is about a pair of con men who pretend to be Santa and an elf.

They travel to different shopping centres each Christmas.

But they change their ways after meeting a troubled eight-year-old who unintentionally reminds them of the true meaning of Christmas.
