Fatboy Slim confirms Brighton Beach II

Fatboy Slim has confirmed he will headline a second free party on Brighton Beach in July.

He said he is planning an "extra special Fatboy Slim show" for the gig.

The DJ, real name Norman Cook, added that last year's event was the best gig of his life.

He said: "The Big Beach Boutique on the July 6 has to go down as the best gig of my life. I just had to do it again. To be honest I really can't wait."

Organisers have confirmed that permission has been granted for a Brighton Beach II but a date has yet to be set.

Last year's event attracted more than 40,000 clubbers.

Fatboy Slim's new album Live From Brighton Beach will be released on February 25.

The mix, which was recorded live at the gig last year, features track from Santos, Underworld, Leftfield and Fatboy himself.
