Public invited to stand in as Gorillaz 'members'

Damon Albarn’s virtual band Gorillaz are to star in an arcade-style video game where players can take on the guise of one of the band members.

The Brits-nominated act dreamt up by Blur frontman Albarn and his illustrator pal Jamie Hewlett will star in the game Zombie Kong, to be launched through interactive TV channel PlayJam on Sky Digital.

Fans will also be able to win prizes of band merchandise and tickets for a trip to see the band in Los Angeles.
