US magazine prints introduction to Star Wars II

US magazine Vanity Fair has printed what it claims is the 'crawl' for the opening credits of Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones.

The most famous 'crawl' for a Star Wars film begins 'a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away'.

Attack Of The Clones is released worldwide on May 17.

Vanity Fair claims the film will open with the line: "Senator Amidala, former Queen Of Naboo, is returning to the Galactic Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating an Army Of The Republic to assist the overwhelmed Jedi."

Star Wars Episode II is known to focus on the creation of a clone army.

Amidala is played by Natalie Portman.
