Gareth 'is a motormouth' on Graham Norton's show

Gareth Gates has been dubbed "motormouth" after recording tonight's edition of So Graham Norton.

Producers say the Pop Idol favourite appears to have conquered his stammer.

Gareth reportedly doesn't struggle for words once during the interview.

Gareth's Pop Idol rival Will Young also appears on the show, to be screened at 10.30pm on Channel 4.

"Ooh! Look at Chatty Cathy. He gets his voice back, and now he won't shut up," Norton tells Gareth during the interview.

Producer Yore Magnusson said: "It's quite amazing. Gareth appears to have been totally cured of his stammer.

"He doesn't stammer once throughout the whole time he is on camera. In fact, he carries on like a bit of a motormouth."

The show also features interviews with Helena Bonham Carter and John Waters.
