Latin hero tops UK charts

Enrique Iglesias has scored his debut UK number 1 with his ballad Hero.

The song entered the top 40 ahead of Caught In The Middle by boy band A1.

Enrique, son of Julio Iglesias, also had the highest entry in the album chart with Escape, at number 21.

Pink's Get The Party Started slipped a place to number 3 in the singles chart while last week's number one, My Sweet Lord by George Harrison, fell to number four.

Overprotected, by Britney Spears, came in at number 5.
