Mexico opens refuge for Hollywood celebrities

A refuge for Hollywood celebrities has been set up in Mexico.

It has been opened in Durango, best known as the dusty backdrop for a number of Hollywood westerns.

The Mision Korian clinic aims to offer celebrities a retreat from paparazzi amid a secluded desertscape.

"There was a need. A lot of Hollywood celebrities and wealthy folks will go there to escape," the centre's spokesman KB Forbes said.

"This offers an intimate setting and privacy for people who want to get away and not have the National Enquirer snooping around."
